I am also writing to commend you for your professionalism and sincere efforts to provide us with exactly what we wanted. Your engineering experience and design planning skills gave us complete confidence in the structural integrity, functionality, and longevity of all aspects of our renovation. The finished product is both exactly what we wanted, and more. Your sons, John and Joe, exhibited the same professionalism and sincerity in creating exactly what we wanted. In addition, they were friendly and helpful, incredibly clean, and considerate throughout the six weeks or so that they worked at our house. They were completely reliable, working five full days a week from start to finish. They offered suggestions for enhanced features that increased both the functionality and the beauty of the project. And, they were always attentive and receptive to our concerns and special requests. For example, they even moved my large desk and printer cabinet up from my basement to the newly created office (on the first floor).

In conclusion, be assured that whenever anyone mentions to us that they have a renovation or addition project in mind, and they ask if we know anyone to recommend, we will definitely recommend you.

Dear John, John and Joe,

This is a long overdue note to say THANK YOU for the incredible job you did on our addition. From beginning to end you were all extraordinarily professional, kind and amazingly knowledgeable. You did our addition in 10 weeks from foundation to completion, new bathroom, laundry room and sitting room/office and not once did we feel imposed upon. In fact it was just the opposite — John and Joe were so sweet and fun to be around that we missed them on the weekends when they weren’t here. We adore our new space, especially the bathroom. After living in a 1930’s house for over 45 years with one bathroom this feels absolutely luxurious. You accommodated all of our requests and ideas without a problem and the workmanship was always top notch. I always said John and Joe were two guys who never said no to any of our requests or changes and they never made us feel like we were asking too much. Now that it has been finished for a few weeks we see that everything works beautifully. I still marvel at some of the unexpected details the guys did that we didn’t even realize at the time.

Dear Mr. Gauntlett,

We are writing to express our thoughts on the recent renovation of our kitchen/laundry room/powder room by your company. Initially, we appreciated the thoroughness and detail of your proposal and layout. Our requests were always met with timely responses. Your emphasis on maintaining good lines of communication were carried through the entire project.

From the start of work everyone on your staff was very professional, considerate and friendly. We were glad to see that once work began it was continuous with an extra effort, given unforeseen circumstances, to get us back into a working kitchen as soon as possible. The quality of work was very good. Everyone put in an extra effort to bring out the best results structurally and aesthetically given the size and existing imperfections of the area being renovated.

Based on past experiences with other contractors we had reservations of taking on this large a project (for us). I'd meant to write this letter sooner but as you know, this time of year always gets busy.

I can't thank you enough for doing a great job in such a short time. I have to say, everybody in the business can't believe how quickly your men got in and out. Being in the business, I know it's hard in the springtime to keep schedules, but I must say we got through with very few headaches. I must commend your people on great work all the way down to the detailed finish trim work.

I would like to thank you for your input in the design. We have been getting a lot of comments about what a great design it is and we're taking all the credit!!
